Dr. Yookyeom (Robert) Huh isn’t just an endodontist; he's a master of his craft, dedicated to the art and science of saving teeth. After earning his dental degree from Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, OH, he deepened his expertise with a Master’s degree in Dental Science and an Endodontic specialty certificate from the same institution.
Endodontics captivated Dr. Huh from the start with its intricate procedures and the profound impact it can have on relieving patient pain. His approach blends precision with empathy, ensuring that each patient feels cared for and reassured throughout their treatment. As a Board-Certified Endodontist by the American Board of Endodontics, he’s committed to the highest standards of clinical excellence and a patient-first philosophy.

His involvement reflects his commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Huh enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his family, experimenting with new recipes, and hitting the golf course, finding balance and inspiration in these passions.
Services
Endodontic Treatment
Endodontic treatment, commonly known as a root canal, involves removing the infected or damaged pulp from inside a tooth, cleaning and disinfecting the root canals, and then filling and sealing them. This procedure aims to save a tooth that might otherwise need to be extracted due to severe decay or infection.
Endodontic Retreatment
Endodontic retreatment is a procedure performed when a previous root canal treatment fails. It involves reopening the tooth, removing the old filling material, cleaning and disinfecting the canals again, and then refilling and sealing them to address any residual infection or issues.
Surgical Endodontic Treatment
Surgical endodontic treatment, also known as an apicoectomy, is a procedure used to address issues that could not be resolved with conventional root canal treatment. During this procedure, the infected area at the tip of the root is removed through surgery. The process involves making a small incision in the gum to access the infected area. After removing the infected tissue, the root tip is resected, cleaned, and then sealed.
Dental Trauma
Dental trauma refers to injuries to the teeth, gums, or surrounding tissues caused by accidents or impacts. It can result in fractures, discolorations, or avulsions (tooth loss), requiring prompt evaluation and treatment to restore function and appearance.
Resorptive Defect
Tooth resorption is a process where the tooth’s structure is broken down and absorbed by the body. It can occur internally, within the tooth, or externally, on the tooth’s surface, often leading to weakening or loss of the affected tooth.
Cracked Teeth
Cracked tooth syndrome occurs when a tooth has a crack that isn’t always visible but causes pain, especially when chewing. The crack can affect the tooth’s pulp and lead to sensitivity or discomfort. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial to prevent further damage.
Regenerative Endodontics
Regenerative endodontics is a treatment approach aimed at repairing and revitalizing the pulp of a tooth with damaged or infected tissue. It involves stimulating the tooth’s natural healing processes to regenerate pulp tissue and restore vitality, often using materials and techniques that encourage tissue growth.
Internal Bleaching
Internal tooth bleaching is a process used to lighten a tooth that has darkened due to internal staining, often following a traumatic injury to the tooth. It involves placing a bleaching agent inside the tooth’s pulp chamber and then temporarily sealing it, allowing the tooth to gradually lighten over time until the desired color is achieved.
Dental Emergencies
Dental emergencies are urgent situations involving severe pain, injury, or damage to the teeth, gums, or mouth that require immediate attention. Common examples include toothaches, knocked-out teeth, broken crowns, and abscesses.
CBCT
CBCT, or Cone Beam Computed Tomography, is a specialized imaging technique that provides detailed 3D views of the teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures. It helps in diagnosing dental issues, planning treatments, and guiding procedures with greater accuracy.
